How to Join?

Fees payable are shown in the table below. The annual fee is a January-December fee. Members joining as annual members before 30 June in a particular year have their first year of membership ending on 31 December of that year. Where the annual fee is paid after 30 June in a particular year the first year of membership ends on 31 December of the next year.

Life Membership (Full)     

Age Under 60:  $270
Age 60-65: $220
Age 65-70: $160
Age Over 70: $130

Life Membership (Partner)

All ages $50

Annual Membership (January-December)

a) standard membership $15.
b) partner membership $5

Partner membership:

any partner/spouse can become a member by paying the standard fee of $15. Since the AGM of 2012 another possibility for partners/spouses is to take out an annual membership at a cost of $5 or Life Membership for $50. This carries with it all the rights of membership except that the partner/spouse does not receive their own copy of The Superannuant.
You can join by contacting the Membership Officer of S.A. Superannuants and providing the details needed to establish a member record. You must include a cheque or money order or pay by electronic funds transfer(if paying by this method see below for Bank details and the procedure required) for the membership category required. The details to be supplied to the Membership Officer are:

Title; Given Names; Surname; Full postal address including postcode; Year of Birth 

These details can be provided in any clear fashion in a simple letter of application.

When Paying by Electronic Funds Transfer

1. The Association Bank Account Details are: Bank SA BSB 105-900 Account Number 950313840 Account Name SA Superannuants

2. Ensure that your own name and initials and your suburb appear with the payment amount when the money is received by the SA Superannuants Account. If you omit to do this we may not be able to identify who has paid the money.

3. Make sure that you send a written application to the Membership Officer which includes the details needed to establish a member record. Once your member record has been established you can renew your membership as required by simply transferring the membership fee electronically and including your name, initials and suburb.
